This week’s Friday Blog comes from Gary Dring, who apart from being an extremely nice bloke, writes a comedy podcast called Clever Little Pod. He also went to the same school as me, although he amazingly retained his humanity.
Anyway, today he’s had a moment of realisation:
I think I’ve been a little bit thick.
I was wondering why MySpace has gone very gay recently, with endless adverts for Manhunt and now gay.com on the homepage.
Now it’s suddenly occurred to me that I might be seeing them because my profile setting is set to ‘gay’ / ‘male’. Duh!

This week’s blog is the Sharp Side, for no other reason than this spot-on post about Hackney caught my eye:
Having led a sheltered life I’d never been to the legendary Broadway Market before. Just about the first thing I saw there was a woman standing on a triangle of grass with apparently nothing on below the waist. She was standing, crouched forward, exposing a handsome, flawless bottom. No one seemed to be regard this as unusual behaviour, so I strolled on. A curious place, Hackney.
