First heard of in the pages of Sherlock Holmes and now, according to the BBC, the Giant Rat Sumatra has turned up in the ‘Lost World‘. Conan Doyle clearly knew something we didn’t.

David Nowak was the 25th London teenager to die in London this year. He was stabbed last night in a mass brawl, only a few streets away from where Etem Celebi was shot last month. This is the scene the next afternoon, with Farleigh Road cordoned off and the TV crews in attendance.

Let’s hope the case is resolved quickly, and those responsible punished.
