Elegantly Dressed Wednesday is an antidote to Half-Nekkid Thursday, on which bloggers post a photograph of some unclothed part of their body. Fine if you like that sort of thing, but I’d rather look at a well-tailored suit, a dress worn with panache or a shirt that Brummel would have envied.

To take part, all you have to do is post a picture of an elegantly dressed person on your blog. It can be you, or it can be someone else. You can post your picture on a Wednesday, or any other day, as long as you make a genuine attempt to delude your readers into thinking it is actually Wednesday. And if you link to this post, or to some other part of this blog, then you automatically become entitled to display the button on this page.
