I can’t say I like the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) any more than the many countries that list it as a terrorist organisation. But I’m glad we still live in a country that allows its supporters to protest if they want to. Something tells me, though, that this demonstration won’t convince Turkey to release Abdullah Öcalan.

just popped over to say that you missed my January 17 EDW post called NEW Beau Brummel (inspired by the TV drama which had just been aired here).
A baby 16 yewar old boy who failed to do a mental spreadsheet on the consequences of putting his party address on Farcebook, caused a riot in his suburban street.
The media devoured him and he produced a Retort Of The Century, which I loved him for.
As my commentor Lad Litter pointed out, it equalled that of 19 year old Mandy Rice-Davies who was not fazed by the Old Bailey either.
